As we all know, the RTX 30 series GPU’s launch was a disaster , but there is rumours about a new RTX 3080Ti that might come very soon.
So far we know that the announcement have been pushed back from May 18th to May 31st, specs wise it seems that for memory, the RTX 3080Ti might be running on 12GB of GDDR6X clocked at 19Gbps. This should mean that the RTX 3080Ti will run with 384-bit memory bus and have 912.4 GBps of memory bandwidth.
The RTX 3080Ti should have the same core as the RTX 3080 and RTX 3090, the GA102 die. This core is rumoured to be the GA102-225-A1 die, as Nvidia is refreshing its Ampere silicon to fight against Ethereum mining.

The 225 numbering indicates that this is new Ampere silicon, with a built-in hardware mining limiter. We don’t know anything about the limitations, but as indicated with previous limiters from NVIDIA the hashrate should be cut in half.
MSRP should be in the range of $999 – $1200, but we all know that’s not going to happen instead leaked prices suggest that the MSI RTX 3080Ti Ventus has been listed with a price around $1,820, while the Gigabyte Gaming OC model is going for $2,257.
