AMD sets another world record

37 618 is the score set by Team OGS on 3D Mark Firestrike, they overclocked their PowerColor RX 6900 XT Red Devil (or Liquid Devil) to 3.3 GHz. Now usually these cards are all locked to 3 GHz through BIOS settings, so this is the first time that one of these cards have been able to reach those clock speeds.

But recently, AMD revealed its new Navi 21 XTXH GPU, a pre binned Navi 21 GPU. Some board partners have already launched their designs based on this Navi SKU. So far you get ASRock OC Formula, ASUS ROG STRIX LC TOP, Sapphire TOXIC Extreme, and PowerColor Red/Liquid Devil series, which is the one used to break the record.

The previous record was 3.2GHz done by der8auer, but it was not a stable overclock however. The new record was set in Firestrike extreme with tessellation off, but it still means that they got an overall score of 37618 points total and 41069 in graphics, that puts OGS in the number one postion.

It is worth mentioning that Firestrike does favour AMD GPUs though, but its still great work done by team OGS.
