Some good news for gamers about mining

With the massive GPU shortage coming from all sides, being it a worldwide microchip shortage, COVID-19 related or the crypto mining sector, gamers have been struggling to get their hands on GPU’s and not only the latest ones but any GPU.

So we have heard for a while now that AIB partners are going to launch their own dedicated mining cards. Now it seems that MSI is one of the first to make this public as they launch the CMP 30HX MINER series GPUs. Which is the first GPU in the mining series for MSI and it will be officially launched by the end of the first quarter.

Now these mining cards can not be used for gaming at all, as they do not have any type of display output to them. The two that MSI have unveiled seems to be directly designed after some of their other cards. The MINER XS is a copy of VENTUS XS and the “MINER” is an copy of the ARMOR series.

Both of these cards are equipped with Turing TU116-100 GPU with 1408 CUDA cores and 6GB of GDDR6 memory.
